Awana is a volunteer program and Grace Baptist Church has been blessed with great leadership throughout the years.  If you think you are interested in helping with the Awana program this club year here is what we are looking for.   

 A committed believer who is willing to  volunteer their time on Wednesday evenings to minister to children ranging in age from 2 years old through 6th grade.  Volunteers model and instill character through prayer, achievement, relationships, accountability, and discipline.  Support staff includes secretaries, leaders, listeners, and game directors. A heart for Christ and kids qualifies you. 

Leaders are encouraged to enter the “World of Kids”.  They are encouraged to eat the popular cereal and play the latest video games. WHY is this exciting and important? Because if what is important to them is important to us, then the opposite will also be true! What is important to us will then be important to them - namely, Jesus Christ and God's Word.
