Women's Ministry
The mission of GBC’s Women’s Ministry is to facilitate building friendships with other women, encouraging women to grow spiritually through all of life’s stages, and reaching out to each other and the community with the love of Jesus, and in all things, glorifying God.
Women’s Ministry is for women of all ages. We welcome recent high school grads, college students, singles, wives, moms, grandmothers, seniors,…that’s right, ALL women! Join us now, in the life-season you’re in, and make a difference in the lives of other women. We Praise God for each of you.
The Four S's of Grace Baptist Church
Seek – The Women’s Ministry seeks to focus all of our activities and events on delighting in God. This aspect is most strongly emphasized in the Bible studies and Women's Retreat.
Saturate – Spreading Truth is spurred on as women are studying God's Word and are encouraged and challenged by fellowship with other women who have a desire to do the same.
Send – The Annual Missions Tea is focused on getting to know our missionaries better and praying for them. That time together ignites a greater interest in being involved with our missionaries throughout the year. We also seek to encourage women to be reaching out in their own neighborhoods and among the circles of friends/family that God has placed them around.
Serve – In all of our activities, our desire is to provide a caring atmosphere for women in the church. Our prayer is that bonds of friendship and growth develop out of the women's ministry, in particular the Progressive Dinner, Church Picnic and End of the Year Brunch.
Serving in Women's Ministries
Grace has a number of women who serve through teaching, children’s activities, numerous committees, missions, praise and worship services, etc. Together all of these women work toward the building up of the body of Christ here at Grace. The Women’s Ministry Committee (WMC) plans the year of calendar events. In the fall, at the beginning of every new academic calendar year, we welcome any woman currently attending Grace who would like to join us, and contribute their individual gifts. We encourage any women currently attending Grace to contact the Ministry Point-of-Contact for further information on any GraceMinistry.
